It was foggy yesterday morning so I went for a walk with a camera. This photo was taken near Morecambe Football Club and it is the main road in Morecambe looking towards the Shrimp roundabout. The weather made me take my camera with me because everything looked so different.When I took the photos it looked like fog. Now that the photos are on the screen the fog makes the photos look Victorian. There is no detail in the background. The obvious reason is fog but technological limitations in the early days of photography would have produced the same result. I have not changed the photo on the left. On the right I have converted to monochrome and increased contrast.
