Yesterday the photos of the Trafford Centre showed that sometimes shade is better than sunlight. Today's photos shows the more usual method of using sunlight to enhance your mane subject (get it?).On the left we have one of the lions which in heraldic terms is possibly a lion sejant. I say possibly because one of its paws is not on the ground. The photo on the right puts these lions in their setting. There has obviously been a lot of money spent on the centre but not so long ago expensive building were built locally like town halls or railway stations.
You don't have to go far to see expensive buildings.
