On my recent walk along Morecambe Prom I saw this boat. The reason I am showing you these two photos is so that you can see the difference between colour and black and white.I have cropped the photos slightly differently and the the boat certainly dominates the frame in the second photo. Since the boat is white (and a bit worse for wear) the first photo is dominated by the boats in the background because of their red colour. Take away the colour and a closer crop and the foreground and now the subject of this photo becomes the centre of attraction.
