
Back to Morecambe Bay. Last week I mentioned that it is really easy to take a good photo of the bay. I particulary like this part of the bay looking from Morecambe because there is interest in the foreground. You get a different great photo just by turning the camera a little. With interest in the foreground you can just take a few steps for a totally different view.I decided that there was not too much interest in the top and bottom of the photo on the left. The cropping on the right crops out these areas. I don't think too much is lost by doing this but you do need to get used to unusual proportions. As with photo subjects, cropping is a matter of taste.
