These photos were taken looking to the north west. Yesterday we were looking to the south west. Again I like the link between the gargoyle and its view that you can see in the photo on the left.It is the same photo on the right. You lose the gargoyle link but you do get a magnified view of many of the city's landmarks, the river Lune, Moreambe, Morecambe Bay and the Lake District mountains. Both photos have their good points. So if I get this opportunity then I'll take both photos.
