The photo on the left is a typical view of the Eiffel Tower. On the right is a less typical view but this time you can see what anyone else can see who visits this popular tourist attraction, and that is there are names that are easily visible under the first balcony.You don't normally get views like the photo on the right and even if you were there you may miss the names. And that's the beauty of photography. It allows you to see things that you would not normally see. You will still have to ask why the names are there and who they are. In fact they are French scientists and engineers and there are 72 names in total.
