Talking of converging verticals (see yesterday's blog) you can see an obvious example on the right. It is probably the Musee d'Orsay's most distinctive feature. I mentioned that I went there in the blog on the 5th November and I would recommend going if you like your impressionists (and lots of other forms of art).The last time that I was in Paris I went to the Louvre which probably has a better name but for me this was the better visit. On the left you can see the museum which is right in the centre of the photograph. Look closely and you can see the clock. There are no photos from inside the building but the outside is fairly impressive.
