This is my daughter and grandson (nephew and aunt just in case you wondered). The reason I am showing you is that we had a party last week and it was easy to put up my black piece of material and take photos.I wanted to show you the photo on the right just to let you know that it is only a piece of cloth that cost a few pounds. As for the studio lighting I turned the flash to the ceiling. This gives the impression that the lighting is from above and it softens shadows tremendously. With a black background you don't see any shadows.
