

Back to Morecambe Bay. Last week I mentioned that it is really easy to take a good photo of the bay. I particulary like this part of the bay looking from Morecambe because there is interest in the foreground. You get a different great photo just by turning the camera a little. With interest in the foreground you can just take a few steps for a totally different view.
I decided that there was not too much interest in the top and bottom of the photo on the left. The cropping on the right crops out these areas. I don't think too much is lost by doing this but you do need to get used to unusual proportions. As with photo subjects, cropping is a matter of taste.
